Citation Abstract: This study aimed to identify the level of difficulty in implementing distance learning for mathematics at the upper basic stage during the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspectives of mathematics teachers in the Northern Jordan Valley Directorate of Education. The descriptive method was used, and a questionnaire consisting of 14 items was administered to a sample of 120 male and female mathematics teachers. The results showed a moderate level of difficulty with an overall mean of 3.22. No statistically significant differences were found according to academic qualification (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) or years of experience (5–10 years), while significant differences appeared based on academic qualification (Higher Diploma) and years of experience (less than five years and more than ten years). The study recommended improving the presentation of mathematics content in distance learning and enhancing teachers’ technological competencies to create interactive online learning environments.
