Citation Abstract: This study attempts to shed light on the relationship between education and development in Morocco. It aims at addressing the extent to which education plays a significant role in the developmental plans that the country has set to achieve both the financial and emotional growth of individuals. In fact, it has become a must that any progress or development can only occur through developing human capabilities. This vision, however, needs a thorough search of the two interrelated concepts namely education and development as well as their presence in the Moroccan society. Which can in turn measure the extent to which Morocco can bring forth the educational dimension in the developmental projects that the government plans to set. This paper also presents some pioneering models that have succeeded in employing education in the development process to reach the required progress and advancement at all levels. As a conclusion, this study focuses on carrying out a local Moroccan model at the faculty of educational sciences in Rabat. The aim here is to highlight the role that this faculty hold in the country’s development and its ability to translate the developmental projects and programs into action, which is all coming from the human potentialities.
