Duties of the Editor-in-Chief & Editorial Board

• Declare any conflicts of interest upon receiving a manuscript submitted to IJJA.
• Evaluate the suitability of submitted manuscripts based solely on academic and scientific merit.
• Select qualified peer-reviewers with expertise in the manuscript’s subject area and without any conflicts of interest.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding manuscript content and ensure it is disclosed only to the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial staff as appropriate.
• Make final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection of manuscripts based on reviewers’ reports.
• Address conflicts, disputes, and ethical misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines.
