Efficiency of health centres in Al-Hamzah Al-Sharqi District in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate for the year 2019/Iraq

Abstract: The research aims to study the reality of the spatial distribution of health centers in the Al-Hamzah Al-Sharqi district for the year 2019. This is evident through the distribution of the population and their density and its impact on the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the health centers. The research included two important sections: one of them studies the spatial distribution of health centers in the district and the preparation of medical and health personnel in them. The other section studies the efficiency of health centers and the services they provide according to local standards. There are (12) health centers in the district, containing (18) doctors, (13) dentists, (11) pharmacists, (193) health professionals, and (184) nurses. The Nasma/health center standard reached (44,545) in the district center, and the deficit of health centers reached (10). The research also reached a set of conclusions, recommendations, and a list of sources and references.
