Spatial Analysis of Marital Violence Against the Wife Employed in Al-Zubair

Abstract:

The phenomenon of spousal violence, which has taken on serious dimensions in recent times and has begun to represent a problem that threatens the entity of families and the bonds of society by dismantling this entity with marital differences that end in violence more often, and that this phenomenon exists in all societies of the world in one way or another, including the community of AL-Zubair city with a social clan structure, so this problem drew attention and became worthy of being the subject of this study.

Although this problem did not appear in public in AL- Zubair city, it existed through the researcher’s contact and knowledge of the nature and atmosphere of society, and violence against wives in general and female employees, especially by their husbands, and at various levels and forms including physical violence and Myself, so this study aimed to reveal the levels of these types of violence and its effects and the disparity of this at the spatial level ((residential revival)) to give it a spatial (geographical) dimension, and limited the limits of study on the municipal boundaries of AL-Zubair city at the time The study included an introduction, a theoretical framework and a geographical profile of AL- Zubair City, then the analysis and interpretation of the results of the field survey, which was one of the important means in the study curriculum, and concluded with a number of conclusions and recommendations reached through the research.
