Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Use of WorSubmission Compliance & Data Sharing**

As part of the submission process, authors are required to ensure full compliance with all of the following items. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction.

Submission Declaration

I declare that this manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by any other journal. I confirm that no conflicts of interest exist, and all sources of funding have been fully disclosed. URLs for references have been provided where available.


Journal Policies on Data Sharing

The International Jordanian Journal Aryam for Humanities and Social Sciences (IJJA) supports open scientific exchange and encourages authors to share research data whenever appropriate. Data sharing enhances transparency, reproducibility, and trust in scientific work.

Data Availability

  • Authors are encouraged to make research data openly available when possible.
  • Ethical, legal, or privacy limitations may restrict data sharing.
  • When full public sharing is not possible, data may be made available upon reasonable request from the corresponding author.
  • For datasets obtained from third parties, sharing is subject to authorization from the data owner.

Data Archiving

Authors may archive data in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, or general repositories, provided that:

  • Data privacy is protected
  • Ethical standards are upheld
  • Necessary permissions are obtained

A Data Availability Statement should be included in the manuscript when applicable.


Ethical & Publication Requirements

Authors must ensure that the manuscript adheres to IJJA’s ethical standards, including:

  • Compliance with publication ethics
  • Proper authorship criteria
  • Accurate citation and referencing
  • Correct format for figures, tables, and references
  • Originality check with Turnitin prior to publication

Withdrawal Policy

If the author chooses to withdraw a manuscript during or after the peer-review process, the author is responsible for covering the review processing cost of $80.

Special Note for Thesis-Based Manuscripts

If the manuscript is derived from an unpublished thesis and includes supervisor names, authors must clearly state this information in the “Comments for the Editor” field during submission’s Processing Software
