Abstract
Theoretical frameworks emphasize that the manifestations accompanying adolescence are universal. Adolescents experience crises throughout this stage, including challenges in their relationships with adults, efforts to achieve identity and self-affirmation, the management of sexual instincts, and the pursuit of ambitions. While physiological changes are tangible, the psychological and social struggles of adolescents vary according to the civilizations and cultures in which they live. This study focuses on adolescents in the Sahrawi community, examining the specific social and cultural factors that shape their experiences during adolescence.
Keywords: Adolescence, Sahrawi teenagers, identity, self-affirmation
