Description

Abstract: Theoretical frameworks emphasize that the manifestations accompanying the adolescence period are universal, and that the adolescent goes through crises throughout this stage, including in his relationship with adults, in achieving his identity and proving himself, in curbing his sexual instincts, and others in the level of ambition. Although the physiological changes that any teenager experiences are tangible changes, adolescents differ in terms of psychological and social suffering depending on the civilizations and cultures in which they live, and from this standpoint came our current study on adolescents in the Sahrawi community.

Keywords: Adolescence, Sahrawi teenagers, identity and self-affirmation.
