Abstract: The present study aimed to identify the challenges, barriers, and opportunities in applying Skrabut’s eighty methods for integrating ChatGPT into the teaching and learning processes, from the perspectives of schoolteachers within the Arab 48 community. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted a descriptive-analytical methodology and utilized a questionnaire as the primary research instrument. The study sample consisted of 350 male and female teachers, selected through a simple random sampling technique. The results revealed that the participants’ perceptions of the challenges and barriers to applying Skrabut’s methods ranged between high and moderate levels, reflecting teachers’ awareness of tangible yet varying difficulties in the practical implementation of these methods. Conversely, the findings regarding the opportunities for applying Skrabut’s methods indicated that all responses were at a high level, demonstrating teachers’ strong belief in the existence of clear and significant opportunities for employing ChatGPT to enhance both teaching and learning. In light of these findings, the study recommends promoting a culture of digital innovation, encouraging schools to adopt innovative educational practices, and motivating teachers to experiment with new digital teaching strategies using ChatGPT. These recommendations aim to strengthen teachers’ readiness to integrate emerging AI technologies into educational contexts and to foster a more adaptive, innovative learning environment.
