Abstract: This study aimed to identify the training needs of special education teachers in the first Zarqa Directorate of Education. The average total score for the answers of the study sample on the study tool in the field of skills development came average with an arithmetic mean (3.33) and a standard deviation (1.08). standard (1.06), and the study results showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the training needs of special education teachers in the first Zarqa Education Directorate according to the study variable (years of experience), while there are statistically significant differences according to For the study variable (passing the International Driving License ICDL), and in light of the findings of the study, a set of recommendations were proposed, such as preparing training programs that meet the needs of teachers of secondary education. Especially from training and preparing training programs that employ modern technology and comply with the requirements of new education strategies such as blended education and meet the training needs of special education teachers, in addition to conducting more studies dealing with another study community and variables not included in the current study.
