Abstract: This study aimed to identify the degree of difficulty in applying distance education to mathematics for the upper basic stage in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of mathematics teachers in the education of the northern Jordan Valley. Mathematics in the Directorate of Education of the Northern Jordan Valley of both sexes, and its validity and reliability were confirmed by a committee of specialized arbitrators. The results of the study showed that the total arithmetic mean of the answers of the study sample on the study tool amounted to (3.22) and this indicates that all the study paragraphs were considered obstacles And to a medium degree, as the results of the study demonstrated that there are no statistically significant differences in the views of the study sample members (mathematics teachers in the education of the northern Jordan Valley) about the degree of difficulty in applying distance education to mathematics for the upper basic stage in light of the Corona pandemic, according to the educational qualification variable (Bachelor and Master) And the presence of statistically significant differences according to the educational qualification variable (higher diploma), in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences in the views on the degree of difficulty in applying distance education to mathematics For the upper basic stage under the Corona pandemic according to the variable years of experience (5-10 years), while it has proven that there are statistically significant differences according to the variable years of experience (less than five years, and more than ten years). Considering the way mathematics is presented through the distance education system and making it more interactive and training and qualifying mathematics teachers to possess the technological competencies to implement the distance learning system and be able to create an interactive electronic environment rich in situations, activities, and educational means.
