Abstract: This research seeks to study the rhetoric of persuasive speech in Quranic discourse in light of the era of new rhetoric. Which has become known among researchers as the eloquence of persuasive discourse or the eloquence of argumentative discourse, or as the new rhetoric or rhetoric in poetic contrast, as stated in Aristotle’s division of rhetoric. This new rhetoric, which is essentially based on studying and analyzing various types of discourse from the persuasive and deliberative argumentative perspective, taking advantage of Modern Western rhetorical studies on the one hand, and the conclusions of the Arab rhetorical lesson in its various eras on the other hand. The main problem that this research seeks to answer revolves around: the extent to which the eloquence of persuasive speech is embodied in the speech of the Holy Qur’an. In Surat Al-Anbiya in particular, the Qur’anic discourse as a whole is filled with various types and types of arguments that would be a fertile field for study and argumentative and persuasive analysis. As for the contents of the study and its contents, the nature of the research dictated a return to the most important tributaries of new rhetoric, whether among Western rhetoricians or among Arab rhetoricians in general. Then, we look in some detail at rhetoric – one of the two wings of rhetoric – which makes deliberative discourse its subject, then a study of Surah “The Prophets” as a rhetorical, argumentative, persuasive study and recording the most important results and conclusions to which we submitted the research.

Keywords: New rhetoric, persuasive speech, arguments.
