Citation Abstract: A person, whether a natural person (man or woman), or a legal entity, acquires the status of a merchant when he carries out business and commercial activities, which places him in a legal position different from other persons, based on the text of Article 9 of the Jordanian Trade Law. The status of a merchant does not come to a person except when the individual takes business as his profession professionally and thus becomes subject to commercial law. The word “persons” here includes the term natural person (human being), who is suitable to be the subject of acquiring rights and bearing obligations. The legal person is also called a legal person or a legal person, which is defined as a group of people or funds that acquire, under the law, a private and independent entity that aims to achieve a specific purpose or purposes within the limits of the law and has a legal personality independent of its owners that enables it to acquire rights and implement the obligations resulting from it.
