Abstract: He continued the emergence of the prose poem - as a new artistic colour - a state of controversy and disagreement between creators and critics, and it had not yet settled, for despite the passage of half a century or more than its emergence as creativity and theoretical, this controversy has not stopped. There are supporters and opponents, as the new poem carries problems. The first problematic of the prose poem lies in its name, for the term “prose poem” is a shocking term for the Arab taste, whose knowledge is based on the fact that the term poem / poetry is opposite and opposite to prose.
