Abstract: This study aimed to identify the effect of a mental training program on improving some psychological and technical skills among promising handball players. To achieve the study objective, the researcher used the experimental method. The study sample consisted of (20) promising handball players in Tafila Club who were divided into two equal groups (the experimental group consisted of ten promising players who were subjected to the mental skill training program, and the control group consisted of ten promising players who were subjected to the program followed by the Handball Federation. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (≤ 0.05α) between the response of the experimental group members to the pre- and post-measurements on the psychological and technical variables and in favor of the post-measurement in all variables.
