Abstract Box
Abstract: The researcher tries in this paper to find out the role of one of the European recitals in exploring the Algerian Sahara and to identify the specificity of Algerian society, namely, Duvier, this explorer who travelled to Algeria and moved from the south to its north, east, and west. He observed and merged with the inhabitants, attended their councils, studied their customs and traditions, collected their heritage, documented their privacy, and monitored their nature, mountains, sands, plants, rituals, and religious methods. This study highlights the role of this European explorer in observing the cultural richness and geographical diversity of the Algerian desert.
