The Place of the African Sahara in the new European Energy Strategy Basket

Abstract: The African Sahara has occupied a very important place in the priorities of European Union. As a regional power that want to get the benefits of the African Sahara like said Robert Kuehane, and to achieve of Absolute and relative gains, at the same time preventing competition forces to exploit the wealth of the Saharian Africa, and because it’s vital strategic area for energetic energies and alternative energy. It’s also the source of the technological development of modern European Industrial society, and the European power has started to renew and adapt its energy policy to secure and diversify energy sources with the new changes in the international system to confront competing forces in this geopolitical area which considered it as a historical heritage.  However, the visions are different for the African Sahara among the EU poles, especially the German and French visions.
