Abstract: This study investigates and analyzes the impact of population distribution on rural stability in Mauritania: models from a state for a assaba. The main objective of the study is to identify the reality of rural stability through the geographical factors affecting the distribution of the population and the extent of its contribution to achieving sustainable and comprehensive development, and the most important findings. To achieve this goal, the study adopts a set of curricula, such as descriptive, analytical, and comparative … The study relies on information taken from the field first, then formal and informal reports issued by the authorities responsible for population and sustainable development in Mauritania. The study came with valuable results in terms of introducing the most important factors that the rural community suffers from and the problems that stand before it in achieving sustainable development in light of the scarce and changing climatic conditions and the unbalanced distribution of the population in the state of Al-Asaba, Mauritania.
