Abstract: The researcher tries in this paper to find out the role of one of the European recitals in exploring the Algerian sahara and to identify the specificity of Algerian society, namely, Duvier, this explorer who travelled to Algeria and moved from the south to its north, east and west, so his inhabitants sat and merged with them, and attended Their councils, without their customs and traditions, collecting their heritage, registering their privacy, and monitoring their nature, their mountains, their mountains, their sands, their plants, their rituals, their religious methods, it is a study that stands for the role of this European explorer in monitoring the cultural richness and geographical diversity of the Algerian desert.
