Social Studies Teachers In Buraimi Governorate Use Geographic Information Systems, Global Positioning Systems and Google Earth in Teaching

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the degree to which social studies teachers in Buraimi Governorate use geographic information systems, the global positioning system, and the Google Earth program in teaching. The researcher used the descriptive approach, where he developed a questionnaire that was applied to a random sample consisting of (75) male and female teachers, and the results of the study were reached. The degree to which social studies teachers in Buraimi Governorate used geographic information systems, global positioning systems, and Google Earth in teaching was moderate. The study recommended educating teachers about the importance of using geographic information systems, global positioning systems, and Google Earth in teaching.
