Abstract – Groundwater resources are considered one of the most important natural resources on which they are mainly dependent on reviving life in the desert areas. Therefore, it was natural for water policy makers in those areas to focus their attention on understanding how to control the equation of supply and demand for groundwater resources in a way that responds to development aspirations. desired, present and future, so this paper will try to shed light on the factors controlling the balance of groundwater resources in desert areas by standing, starting with the need for various human activities and what they require in terms of matching availability and needs, and ending with highlighting the challenges and obstacles facing them that would pose a threat The availability of this precious resource in the most needed areas.
