Abstract: The military administration of the Seljuks was clearly distinguished, which contributed to their emergence on the scene of events as an influential military force. Al-Rwandi described the Seljuks as “people distinguished by piety, religion, vigilance, and non-neglect.” The military system was the basis on which the Seljuk sultans relied to achieve their political goals, and they seized vast lands and property. This necessitated the presence of a strong, organized army that would adopt specific methods and use various weapons in combat in order to achieve its goals of control and expansion.
