Attitudes of University of Nizwa students towards globalization and its reflections on the Omani cultural identity

Abstract: The study aimed to know the attitudes of the students at the University of Nizwa towards globalization and its implications for the Omani cultural identity. The simple random method available. The study concluded several results, most notably, the absence of statistically significant differences about globalization and its reflections on the Omani cultural identity among the students at the University of Nizwa from their point of view due to the variables (Gender, scientific college, scientific level). One of the most prominent recommendations of the study is to take advantage of the huge capabilities and multiple facilities that globalization offers in the field of knowledge progress and technological development, to preserve the national identity and Omani culture, and to make sure to conduct more studies and research on the subject of globalization and its implications for the cultural identity in the Omani society.
