The International Jordanian Journal Aryam for Humanities and Social Sciences (IJJA) is a fully open access journal.
All published articles are freely and immediately available online upon publication without any subscription, registration, or access restrictions.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support editorial processes including peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, and long-term digital archiving, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC).

The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted following a double-blind peer review process.
Editorial decisions are made independently of any financial considerations and are not influenced by APC payments.

Fees and Transparency

No submission or handling fees are charged at any stage of the review or publication process. The Article Processing Charge (APC) is USD 225 per accepted article. The journal does not impose any hidden or additional charges at any stage of the publication process.

Waiver Policy

Fee waivers or discounts may be granted in exceptional cases upon request, particularly for researchers from low-income countries or under special circumstances, subject to editorial approval.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may withdraw their manuscripts at any time before final acceptance without any fees or penalties.

After acceptance, withdrawal requests must be formally justified and are subject to approval by the editorial office.

Payment Policy

Payment of the APC is required only after formal acceptance of the manuscript based on peer review.
Authors are responsible for any applicable bank transfer fees.

Proof of payment must be submitted to the journal’s official editorial email prior to publication.

Access Model

The journal follows a full open access publishing model. All content is freely accessible worldwide immediately upon publication, ensuring maximum visibility, accessibility, and dissemination of research outputs.

Peer Review Timeline

The peer review process typically takes approximately 2 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

Author Rights

Authors retain full copyright of their published work and may archive, share, and reuse their articles in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.
